Like Root Canal, being done by a wire brush and other workouts with names that sound bad, having a Finger in the Eye expresses the degree to which you will enjoy doing the workout. So too with brussel sprouts...who likes brussel sprouts? OK, some people do but you won't catching me naming a workout fillet mignon or peanut butter and fudge ice cream.
