The devil is in the details. Funny how small things can really change how something feels. When I came up with Blurred Vision the idea was 3 pulling exercises in a row (row, pullups, hang power snatch) followed by 3 pushing exercises (wall ball, ring pushups, push press) in a row. When I did the workout this morning - alone - it smoked me right from the start. I was sure I saw 16 something as one of the times for this workout so as the time snuck past the 17 minute mark and I was on the verge of looking for a way to injure myself so I could stop, I began to conjur up a variety of excuses for my lame performance. The dog did not eat my homework so I couldn't use that and I don't have a dog...or homework for that matter. So I was pretty much stuck with "I sucked today." In the afternoon smarter people than me showed up and I think it was Alex who pointed out that the workout was done with reps of 15-12-9 and I had done it with 21-15-9. Hmmm, that explained a lot. Everyone dubbed it awful, so it seems as though Blurred Vision has a new rep scheme.
