1628

1628 (show workout)

Eugene 14:51
Joey 18:30
Steve 20:05

Previous times for this workout

As we all know George Villiers, 1st duke of Buckingham, arrived at Portsmouth August 17, 1628 to lead another expedition for the relief of La Rochelle, France and 1628 was a leap year but the 1628 I'm talking about today was how many steps we took for the Unleashed race course.  Steve and Joey did it too and Joey proved to be tough to beat.  After that we did 10 sets of a 60 step run up and down on the 2 minutes.  That pretty much finished us up.

An email from Rich:

While you did the stairs, Clan Scaniffe went to the box to do some
makeup work that we missed.

Tiffany did A Nice Run Ruined. Time was 21:55. Her weights were 44 for
swings, 25 for slams, 26 for snatches, 12 for wall ball, 65 for push
press and 75 for cleans. Oh and the black band for pullups. I don't
believe she thought it was a nice run. She was making noises as if
some terrible, unspeakable atrocities were being committed upon her.
At one point I said something to her. Her response, "I can't hear
anything you're saying right now". Since we were not far away, I can
only assume auditory exclusion. Traumatic indeed.

I did Tourettes. I did 180/200/170 lbs with 13/11/8 for max reps on
squats and 52/61/44 lbs with 27/20/16 for the push press. Took about
31 minutes. Afterward I felt like I was run over by a truck. Carrying
a payload of steel and concrete. Then a train hit the truck and
stopped on top. Then the moon fell out of the sky and landed on the
pile. Oh and a fat guy need a place to lay down so he jumped up on the
train. Crushing.

Little broken Tucker was inspired and walked(nay, RAN since I had to
jog to catch him) around the box. Since it was crossfit he did it on
three legs. That's the most he's moved since he broke his leg.

Jody sat there and watched the madness. Then ran from the doors to
each mirror several times convinced she would catch that dog on the
other side of it.

Have a good night of working. You should be punished for even thinking
up Tourettes.
